Clement Kjersgaard - Danish Democracy in the 21st Century


What is the current status of Danish democracy? Is it inclusive and just? What challenges the ways in which we have built our democratic society over the past 150 years? And in which direction are we heading?

🗣 Clement Kjersgaard:
TV Anchor, Editor and Public Speaker

Clement Kjersgaard holds an MA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from University of Oxford. He is a TV anchor at DR and in 2002, he founded the independent non-profit magazine Ræson. He has been listed as Denmark’s most powerful journalist (2011), has won a number of prices such as Publicistprisen and Den Berlingske Fonds Journalist Pris, and last year he was nominated for Best European Journalist of the Year at the Prix Europe festival.
